The town has two fully operating open cut coal mines and multiple solar farms within the region, these dramatically increase the population of transient workers. This transient population then impacts the workload within local medical facilities. Collinsville Family Practice is the only Practice within the small rural town. It can offer a country lifestyle with close access to many coastal beaches. The town has much to offer for those looking to explore a diverse and relaxed lifestyle.
