Northern Queensland Primary Health Network (NQPHN) works to improve health outcomes by connecting care, supporting primary health providers, and commissioning services where they’re needed most.
Our region spans a massive half a million square kilometres, from south of Mackay all the way to the Torres Strait. Across this beautiful landscape, our rural and remote GPs, clinicians, and the primary health care workforce are the true bedrock of our communities.
We support over 700,000 people across the Torres and Cape, Cairns, Townsville, and Mackay regions.

Strengthening the primary healthcare workforce and supporting innovation, data and quality improvement, business sustainability, and reform.

Coordinating and connecting care across the system to improve access as well as patient and provider experiences.
