Psychological Therapies in Residential Aged Care Homes (RACH)
Residents living in aged care homes can access free psychological support to help them improve their mental and emotional wellbeing. NQPHN has partnered with seven Psychological Therapy providers to deliver services to aged care homes across the greater Cairns, Townsville, and Mackay regions, including rural areas.

Referral processes have been developed between each home and their allocated provider, and this is the best method of initiating referrals for this service.
Aged care homes can also refer by contacting the Medicare Mental Health Phone Service.
