Managing Urticaria in General Practice

The National Allergy Council in collaboration with the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) is hosting a webinar on Urticaria presented by Dr Alan Baker, a Clinical immunology/allergy specialist. 

This webinar is offered as part of allergy assist, a free national service that provides rural doctors with advice within 48 hours from clinical immunology/allergy specialists, as well as allergy education opportunities. 

Key learning objectives

  1. Understand the different types and potential causes of urticaria. 
  2. Describe the most important considerations in the assessment and investigation of urticaria.
  3. Apply a step-wise approach to treatment and what to consider/initiate prior to seeking specialist input.
