Breast Screening and Prevention

Welcome to the next meeting of The Cairns Group. Meeting monthly on the first Monday or Tuesday of each month, we welcome GPs and dentists across the region to attend  this month's session in person or virtually. At this session, we will focus on Breast Screening and Prevention.

Dr Amanda Blinco

Amanda is a GP and Clinical Director of BreastScreen Qld, Cairns. Amanda has spent most of her career as a rural GP including stints as a GP Obstetrician and GP Anaesthetist, and has developed many interests and skills from antenatal to end-of-life care. Notably, she has extra qualifications in breastfeeding advice and contraception, including mirena insertion. Following Amanda's presentation she will be joined by a panel of experts to support our discussion.
