CKD in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders

Northern Queensland Primary Health Network (NQPHN) in partnership with Kidney Health Australia invite primary care professionals in the Mackay region to attend an educational dinner on Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders.

This First Nations peoples case study-based module explains the role of primary care in preventing and detecting CKD. Correctly staging CKD using eGFR and urine ACR results will be covered, along with how to create an individualised clinical action plan for a patient with CKD.
