Challenging Behaviours

This practical workshop helps you to understand “challenging behaviours” better as it uncovers the many facets that can contribute to these behaviours. It explores factors including attachment, sensory processing, executive function and relating styles.

You will have the chance to analyse a child's behaviour in this framework and will be guided towards an intervention strategy.

It covers the range of behavioural challenges, including the disengaged child as well as the explosive child. Strategies are explored to both prevent the outburst as well as to manage them in the moment.
