Darling Downs and West Moreton PHN has collaborated with Australia’s telehealth clinical research centre, The University of Queensland’s Centre for Online Health, to present a practical webinar tailored for aged care and primary healthcare staff. This exclusive one-hour webinar offers a unique opportunity to gain profound insights into the vast potential of telehealth in an aged care setting. 

Key highlights of the webinar include: 

  • understanding the benefits of telehealth in aged care, residential aged care homes (RACHs), geriatrics, and how it can revolutionise healthcare delivery
  • identifying and addressing the challenges that may arise during telehealth implementation, along with expert-driven strategies to overcome them
  • exploring best practices and techniques for tailoring virtual consultations specifically for older adults, ensuring patient-centred care and improved outcomes
