Supporting the Operation Compass #CheckYourMates Campaign

On Friday 26 November the #CheckYourMates campaign launched for 2021 and our offices in Cairns, Townsville, and Mackay took on the challenge.

This is a great time of year to check in with someone that you haven’t spoken to in a while. Take the challenge to connect with five mates, and encourage them to do the same. Connect with them, yarn with them, and motivate them to act.

The Check Your Mates Campaign is a key outcome of the Operations Compass project. First introduced in 2018, #CheckYourMates is a way of generating awareness of the need to stay in touch with family and friends, and encouraging them to check in on someone they haven’t spoken to in a while as well.
